Youth Rally Was a Success!

The Connect 180 Do Something For Jesus Youth Rally was a big success! We had at least 25 youth who attended, several singing groups, youth pastor Joe Filer and Amy Fox (from the Pregnancy Hope Center) participated by giving us special presentations and we all had a lot of fun learning about why God plans for us to abstain from intimacy until marriage.

Connect 180 Youth Rally

This month, Connect 180 will be presenting the Do Something for Jesus Youth Rally 2015. This event is designed to get teenagers not only ignited for Christ, but also to encourage them to see what God wants them to do in their lives. This rally will happen annually, with a different theme every year. The theme for this year is "embracing abstinence", where we focus on how God wants us to remain intimately pure until marriage. Music, food, drama presentations and so much more will be featured, so if you're a teenager between grades 6 and 12, be sure to join us on September 19, at 10:00 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church.

Connect 180 Hits the Pickleball Courts

Last Sunday (August 30th), Connect 180 hit the courts and had a pickleball tournament. It was hot, and we all got sweaty, and most of us didn't seem to know how to play, but we had fun! That's the important thing!

Pickle Ball Clinic and Tournament

Hello, everyone! We will be having a pickle ball tournament this Sunday (August 30th), at 2:00 p.m. at courts 1-6 at 2149 Horseman Park Drive, St George, UT. We know it will be a fun event. If you don't know how to play pickle ball, that's OK too, because a clinic will be provided. If you're a teenager in 6th to 12th grade, we'd love to have you join us.
